Art and design, including all forms of the fine arts, is at the heart of our passion at The Palladio Group. Artists, which in the broad sense includes artisans and those whose work encompasses the creative, need a space in which to create before they can be successful. The Art Factory is that place in Memphis. Located in a former industrial building, the Art Factory has been transformed into 21 private and secure artists’ studios of various sizes. Available for rent by artisans, the studios provide the privacy and tranquility necessary for all sorts of creative work.
The Art Factory is or has been the creative home for a broad range of art forms: fine art painters, photographers, fabric artists, jewelry creators, potters, ceramic artists, faux finishers, quilt makers, toy maker, writers, cartoonists, and architectural services.
Access is 24/7 through a security system monitored door. Utilities are included in the rent. Heating and air conditioning are equal to office environments. The studios are for creating, and are intentionally left relaxed so as not to inhibit the process.
